Two days after this letter was sent to Amber, the mayor “accidently” fell down a cliff.

Clue #1: This letter was found at the accident:

Dear Amber,

You will not be enjoying our terrible town. The citzens will try to kill you. I’m sorry to tell you award-winning author that this town is horrible. I prefer you to escape this town right now. I’m in a dangerous siuation right now…I’m being threatned(I’m sorry if I spell that word wrong)I’m being threatned to give up my fortune to a terrible man. If I don’t give my fortune I’ll be thrown off a cliff………….Good……bye.
